Sew-N-Sew’s 3rd Quarter 08 Newsletter
It’s time to begin another quarter. In doing so we’ve packed the summer calendar full of classes that everyone has been asking for and a few that we thought of. There are classes for the sewer, embroiderer, quilter and those who just want to be crafty and have fun. Let me tell you about what we have planned.
You’ll see that we’ve included a Beginner’s Sewing Class for two different age groups. This will be a three part workshop, think of it as a sewing camp. Space will be limited so I would recommend you reserve your spot with payment early. If you don’t fall into the age groups, we haven’t forgotten you. We have a Mommy & Me Sewing Workshop for you. You don’t have to have a Mommy, just an adult that can assist you.
We’re also going to have a slumber party. Everyone needs to bring in an old pair of jeans and a shirt. We’ll show you how to jazz them up and make them new. No sewing will be required. Now that’s what I call fun.
Speaking of fun we’ve also added some quilting classes. We’ll have a quilting workshop using Fun-N-Done Quilting. All you have to know how to do is sew a straight line. You have fun piecing/sewing the quilt together and when it’s done, it’s already quilted. Also, Dian Fournet will be teaching some Basic Quilting Classes this quarter along with her Invisible Appliqué Technique class.
For all you embroiderers we’ve added more workshops for the summer. Everyone has been raving about the koozie’s and in the July workshop Gabe is going to show you a new twist to embroidering on koozie’s. She also has some workshops planned to get you started on your Christmas projects.
In August Gabe and I will be headed to Las Vegas for Brother’s Annual Convention. I’ll tell you all about our trip and what Brother has in store in next quarter’s newsletter.
If you are interested in any of the classes please call TODAY to reserve your spot. Seating is limited and it is based on a first pay first serve basis. Payment is required to be paid before you start the class and it is non-refundable. Please remember to check our website www.sew-n-sews.net often.
